Founded in 1999 to raise awareness of the epidemic of eating disorders, Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders is determined to establish the first non-profit acute-care, long-term inpatient eating disorder facility in Texas , which will be called “The Haven.” LFED is the largest grass-roots outreach eating disorder organization in Texas . Its resources and support allow families and victims to make accurate and informed decisions on treatment.

Publicizing a Lifeline

Founder Dawn Montaner works tirelessly to revise the existing laws and to ensure that medical care is available for those in need. She called on E.H. Anderson PR to communicate those efforts to the world.

Our team:

Helped Lifelines get educational materials about eating disorders into Texas schools.

Helped Lifelines secure a grant to cover the cost of delivering those materials

Produced a 20-minute video to support this important educational campaign

Increased awareness of the problems associated with anorexia and bulimia

“Eating disorders is not a story everyone wants to hear or read about, but that never has stopped Anderson from presenting it.  They go above and beyond the goals we set, and I appreciate their brutally honest approach.”

-Dawn Montaner, Founder and Executive Director, LFED
