WACO, Texas (April 13, 2016) — Boulder Designs announced today a new signed franchise agreement in Brazoria County. This agreement will be Boulder Design’s first location in southeast Texas and the 61st location in the United States.
Since purchasing the Boulder Designs franchise system in late 2015 and moving its headquarters from Rantoul, Illinois to Waco, Texas, veteran franchise executive turned franchisor Butch Mogavero has been restructuring the company. The Brazoria County franchise, Boulder Designs by McDuff Stoneworks, heralds the growth Mogavero expected when he took ownership of the company.
“Selling the Brazoria County territory is a huge milestone for our brand and our refocused direction,” said Mogavero. “The Franchise Expo South in Houston was our debut, and we have several more prospects in the pipeline from that show.”
Home-based in Pasadena, Texas, Boulder Designs by McDuff Stoneworks will be fully operational May 1.
“My father and I know we wanted to buy a franchise because of the support and structure,” said Landon McDuff, co-owner of Boulder Designs by McDuff Stoneworks. “When we met Butch and saw the versatility of the product and the royalty structure, we knew we found the opportunity we were looking for.”
Since taking over Boulder Designs last year, Mogavero had added the expertise of veteran franchise management consultants John Appel and Rick Cross to strengthen the company’s expansion endeavors.
