The Problem

For over 80 years, the Castillo family proudly brought innovative dining to the Waco area. Sam Castillo wanted to continue this legacy by updating the La Fiesta brand to Cantina Texas. The complete re-branding of the restaurant would include a chef-driven menu serving made-from-scratch dishes with the freshest ingredients.

The Solution

Social media marketing company, E.H. Anderson PR, designed a grand opening campaign to bring awareness of the restaurant transformation by creating social media sites and distributing press releases to the media.

The Results

For print, a feature story with photo of the interior of the new restaurant was secured in the Waco Tribune-Herald. Our social networking secured a positive review via Twitter.  We created a Facebook page and using our savvy Waco connections, it received 300 ‘likes’ in less than a week. A YouTube channel was created with new videos showing the Castillo family history.
