Central Texas Marketing….

Sponsorships of local community events are good way to show your support and generate publicity for your organization.  For one client in particular, print advertising is on hold until new photos are shoot and the executive team gives us the green light on a campaign idea.  In the meantime, we will recommend several events for the client to sponsor. Important for this client is having space where 1.) Interested parties can visit with the organization’s representatives and 2.) A table for print collateral.  Here is the list of Central Texas Marketing: Sponsorships as published by the Waco Tribune-Herald May 22, 2011.  Yes, once we identify the events that may work for what the client needs, we will make phone calls to see what the opportunities exist for space for a table.  Some sponsorship allow only for branding…having a logo on a sign or a banner.  Those are good too for top-of-mind branding.  Another recommendation we made once was to select a theme within a cause. For example, if pets and animals are the common theme an organization wants to support, then the Animal Birth Control Clinic No Balls BallCameron Park Zoo StampedeFuzzy Friends Barkin’ Ball,  could be the beneficiaries.  Rather than $100 spread over many events for varying causes — which adds up to be several thousand dollars once 12 months passes — we suggested larger sponsorships to fewer events.  Bigger bang for the buck.
