As the game sponsor of the 2016 TCU vs. Baylor football game, our client, TFNB, was given several marketing opportunities during the game including a one-minute video to play on Baylor Vision. TFNB wanted to promote Charity Champions. We already had a lot of video shot, so we wrote a script, partnered with Pollei Designs on the graphics and edited this piece. We shortened it to a 60-second TV commercial added to KWTX and Time Warner Cable rotations.
An on-field presentation was also part of the sponsorship. Instead, we created a surprise giveaway. Before the game, the vouchers were placed under 25 seats in McLane Stadium, and we gave a heads-up to Baylor’s on-field action camera crews. Then, during the game, Baylor’s PA announcer told the crowd of 48,000 to look under their seats for a surprise from TFNB. The winners were shown jumping for joy on Baylor Vision with their TFNB vouchers. about 15 vouchers have been redeemed.
