Case Study:
Packaging Distributors, Inc. manufactures check weighing, bulk packing, and infeed systems for the packaging industry. PDI runs ads in Packaging World magazine on a quarterly basis. In late 2019, owner Richard Fallas found E.H. Anderson PR from a Google search. He called, we met, and then we were on our way to designing his ads. After a successful year of working together on ad, he hired us to produce a video on a new machine engineered by Fallas, We shot, edited and delivered the final video with a month’s time.
Print Ads
We were hired to photograph PDI’s Case Sealer Taper machine and design a half-page ad for the December 2019 issue of Packaging World magazine. Following that project, we photographed and designed the company’s four ads in 2020.
Video
PDI wanted to promote the company’s newly manufactured Bulk Fill By Weight or Count machine before it was to be shipped out of the state to the customer. We scheduled a half-day video shoot, where we interviewed owner Richard Fallas on camera and shot video of the machine as well as the exterior of the facility after learning it is powered by solar panels. We used a Canon HDV video camera, drone, Osmo and iPhone 11. In four weeks, the video edited and delivered to the client. Owner Richard Fallas said the video was “great.” He plans to post it on the PDI website, YouTube channel and social media.
